The Week in Shows (Nov. 13-19)

On Nov. 13, the Windsor Coin Club is hosting its 55th Annual Fall Coin Show at the Caboto Club on 2175 Parent Ave., in Windsor, Ont. The bourse, which will hold 39 dealer tables, will be open to the public from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission is $1 (although “juniors” are free when accompanied by an adult); and parking is free.

Also on Nov. 13, the Troyak Club is hosting its Fall Coin and Stamp Show at John Paul II Polish Cultural Centre on 4300 Cawthra Rd., in Mississauga, Ont. The show will run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., with more than 30 dealers and 60-plus dealer tables.

TOREX

Later this week, on Nov. 19-20, “Canada’s national coin show,” Torex, will be held at the Hyatt Regency hotel on 370 King St. W., in Toronto, Ont. The bourse will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday. Admission $7 (although children under 16 years of age are free). Auction viewing begins on Nov. 18 for an official auction hosted by The Canadian Numismatic Company.
