Viewing, live RCNA auction starts today at convention

Live viewing for the Royal Canadian Numismatic Association (RCNA) auction opens today.

Presented by The Canadian Numismatic Company (TCNC), auction highlights include:

  • an elusive 1914 50 cents PCGS gem Mint State-65;
  • an ultra-rare Indian Chief Medal treaty No.4;
  • 1935 $500 in VF condition, the most sought-after Bank of Canada banknote,;
  • a splendid 1935 $25 English in Superb Gem Mint State-65;
  • an ultra rare 1915 25-cent PCGS Choice Mint State-64;
  • a 1936 25-cents with the Bar variety in PCGS Superb Gem Mint State-66+ with great eye appeal;
  • a magnificent set of 1954 Replacement banknotes with the Devil’s Face portrait;
  • a beautiful 1905 25-cent PCGS Gem Mint State-66;
  • a stunning 1920 50-cent Narrow O PCGS Superb Gem Mint State-66; and
  • a amazing 1898H one-cent ICCS Superb Gem Mint State-67 Red.

In addition, the auction includes a superb selection of the Brian Cornwell collection of five-cent silver pieces, and the ”Southern Ontario Collection” Part II, which holds a premium selection of Proof and Specimen banknotes and several others, including rare serial numbers.
