Vancouver club offers ‘Pandora’s Box’

In place of its regular holiday-themed club meeting, Vancouver’s North Shore Numismatic Society (NSNS) is hosting its annual “Pandora’s Box” draw via Zoom this year.

Since April, the NSNS has hosted virtual meetings, each attracting upwards of 25 attendees, including far-flung guests from the B.C. Interior and as far away as Ontario, Québec and the United States.

While the club’s meetings – featuring a presentation followed by an auction – are open to members and non-members, only paid NSNS members can participate in the Pandora’s Box draw.

“For gifts, we are giving away approximately $650 of our door prize inventory and, included in this amount, will be four one-ounce Silver Maple Leafs donated by the club.”

For more details about the club’s Dec. 15 meeting, email NSNS President Mike Souza at info@northshorenumismaticsociety.org.
