Vallejo, Calif’s Michael Turrini will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Royal Canadian Numismatic Association (RCNA) Club Delegates Breakfast, a yearly event held in conjunction with the annual RCNA Convention.
Entitled “Make the Hobby Great,” Turrini’s talk will “centre on what we as numismatists can do to continue evolving the hobby in a positive way so that we can keep it in a strong standing as we advance in our numismatic careers,” said RCNA Club Services Chair Brett Irick.
All RCNA members are encouraged to attend the breakfast meeting.
“You do not have to be an official club delegate,” added Irick.
An area director and Fellow of the RCNA, Turrini is a familiar face in Canadian numismatics and frequent donor to the Canadian Association for Numismatic Education, of which he’s also a director.
This year’s RCNA Convention will be held in Halifax, N.S., on July 22-25. For more information, visit rcna.ca/2020/index.php.
