Torex returns to the Hyatt Regency Toronto this weekend for two days of numismatic action with nearly 40 dealers from across Canada.
Located at 370 King St. W., in downtown Toronto’s entertainment district, the show will be open on Oct. 27 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Oct. 28 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Daily admission $7, but children aged 16 and under are free.
TOREX AUCTION
The Canadian Numismatic Company (TCNC) will also be returning to Torex to host the October 2018 Torex Auction, which will be begin today. The “two jewels” of this collection, according to auctioneer Marc Verret, is a 1917 Merchants Bank $10 note in Professional Coin Grading Service Very Fine-25 PPQ (premium paper quality), which is the best-graded example to date, and an 1857 Commercial Bank of Canada $2 note that’s “probably unique.”
