Scarborough Coin Club hosts 28th annual show Nov. 1

The Scarborough Coin Club will welcome collectors and the public to its 28th annual coin show on Sunday, Nov. 1, offering an opportunity to buy, sell and learn more about coins, banknotes and other numismatic collectibles.

The show runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cedarbrae Community Centre, 91 Eastpark Blvd., in Scarborough, Ont. Admission is free, and visitors can participate in draws throughout the day.

Collectors will have an opportunity to browse and purchase a variety of numismatic material, including Canadian and world coins, paper money, medals, tokens and Canadian Tire money. The event also offers an opportunity for visitors to speak with fellow collectors and learn more about the hobby.

Founded in 1975, the Scarborough Coin Club has been part of the local numismatic community for more than 50 years. The club promotes coin collecting and numismatic education, bringing together collectors who share an interest in coins, currency and related historical material.

The annual show is being held at the same location as the club’s regular monthly meetings, providing visitors with an opportunity to learn more about the organization and its activities.

Refreshments will be available for purchase during the show.
