Numismatists and bullion investors have an exciting opportunity to acquire a special selection of First Strike gold and silver bullion coins as The Royal Mint partners with Stack’s Bowers Galleries for a dedicated auction series.
The auctions will take place over two days: Monday, Sept. 30, and Tuesday, Oct. 1, offering some of the most historically significant coinage produced under the reign of King Charles III.
Among the highlights are:
- The first coins struck of the 2023 Coronation one-ounce Gold and Silver bullion coins
- The 2023 Coronation Britannia one-ounce Gold and Silver bullion coins
- The 2024 Britannia and Liberty one-ounce Gold, one-quarter ounce Gold, and one-ounce Silver bullion coins
- The 2024 Lion and Eagle ounce Gold and Silver bullion coins
These coins are notable for being some of the first issued in the name of King Charles III, marking the beginning of a new chapter in British and world numismatics. Each design represents a blend of tradition and modern innovation from The Royal Mint, offering collectors and investors a chance to own tangible pieces of history.

Each coin has been graded and encapsulated by the Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC), with custom labels acknowledging their historical significance. Notably, some of the most important coins will feature labels signed by Royal Mint CEO Anne Jessopp and the King’s Assay Master, Daniel Thomas.
The auction is spread across two sessions, with live bidding available:
