RNS seeking two lecture proposals for 2020

The U.K.-based Royal Numismatic Society (RNS), which is the foremost numismatic society across the pond, is seeking two students or young professionals working in numismatics to give a lecture to its members next February.

Specifically, the RNS is seeking people currently studying an aspect of numismatics at university or in the museums and heritage sector; involved in a numismatic research project; or working on any cataloguing, display or public engagement projects featuring museum numismatic collections.

If you’re interested in promoting your work to a wider audience, proposals are being accepted by RNS Secretary Henry Flynn at hflynn@britishmuseum.org.

Your proposal should include:

  • your name;
  • your job title and institutional affiliation (optional);
  • your contact details;
  • a title;
  • a short abstract up to 250 words; and
  • a short personal biography up to 100 words.

The deadline for submissions is May 20.
