The U.K.-based Royal Numismatic Society (RNS), which is the foremost numismatic society across the pond, is seeking two students or young professionals working in numismatics to give a lecture to its members next February.
Specifically, the RNS is seeking people currently studying an aspect of numismatics at university or in the museums and heritage sector; involved in a numismatic research project; or working on any cataloguing, display or public engagement projects featuring museum numismatic collections.
If you’re interested in promoting your work to a wider audience, proposals are being accepted by RNS Secretary Henry Flynn at hflynn@britishmuseum.org.
Your proposal should include:
- your name;
- your job title and institutional affiliation (optional);
- your contact details;
- a title;
- a short abstract up to 250 words; and
- a short personal biography up to 100 words.
The deadline for submissions is May 20.
