The Regina Coin Club (RCC) has unveiled its new website, reginacoinclub.ca, which was revamped late last year in a project spearheaded by Troy Zimmer, the group’s secretary.
Zimmer is also the assistant layout editor of the RCC Newsletter, which the club typically publishes eight to 10 times a year.
“To me, it looks like one of the most professional coin club newsletters in Canada,” RCC President George Manz wrote in the newsletter’s December issue.
The RCC hopes to host its spring show – one of its two semi-annual events – at a new venue, the Italian Club, in April. The RCC was forced to cancel both of its 2021 shows due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The club returned to in-person meetings this fall as Saskatchewan pulled back on its gathering size restrictions; however, on Dec. 31, the province set a daily record of 735 new cases with a 26.3 per cent positivity rate.
Some provincial organizations, including the Saskatchewan Federation of Labour, are now calling for renewed restrictions.
