Regina club awards member

The Regina Coin Club (RCC) has presented its annual President’s Award to Troy Zimmer, the group’s secretary, in recognition of his contributions to the club and to numismatics in the Saskatchewan capital.

A long-time RCC director, Zimmer has also served as the club’s secretary for the past five years.

“Prior to the pandemic, Troy also ran the monthly CoinHawks kids ’coin collecting club, which hopefully we will get running again this fall,” reads the April edition of the club’s monthly newsletter.

Zimmer’s latest projects include a “major overhaul” of the club website,, plus layout upgrades to the newsletter. Last year, Zimmer also marked the RCC’s 555th meeting with a commemorative wood dubbed the “Lucky Fiver.”
