The Royal Canadian Numismatic Association (RCNA) is offering three webinars this weekend as a prelude to its July 19-23 convention in Nova Scotia.
Two webinars were held the previous weekend.
Convention Chair James Williston says the virtual seminars “will give everyone a taste of what the convention is about.”

Saturday, July 15 at 2 p.m. EDT
The Royal Canadian Mint will host a 45-minute presentation on ‘New Dimensions in Collecting Coins’, with Dr. Yiyi Yang of the mint’s research and development department.
There will be a Q&A session at the end of the presentation.

The Bank of Canada’s David Bergeron will host a 45-minute presentation on The history of the National Currency Collection and will
introduce the viewers to some of the people who were instrumental in its creation and development.
There will be a Q&A session at the end of the presentation.

Sunday, July 16 at 2 p.m. EDT
Collectors Corner: Four Collectors from across Canada will take part in a panel discussion.
Dan Gosling (Ardrossan, Alta.), Mike Sousa (Vancouver, B.C.), Cassidy Stroud (Barrie, Ont.) and Francois Rufiange (Quebec City, Que).
Each collector will discuss their history and how they got involved in the hobby and what areas of numismatic collecting interests them.
There will be a Q&A session at the end of the presentation.
