RCNA reveals 2022 convention medal

The Royal Canadian Numismatic Association (RCNA) has approved the artwork for its 2022 convention medal.

After a two-year absence, the RCNA is returning to a live, in-person convention this July 20-24 at the Delta-Ottawa City Centre in Ottawa, Ont.

As reported on the RCNA website, this year’s convention medal, “with a logging crew in the foreground guiding a crib down the Chaudière timber slide, flanked by the lumber yards, and with Ottawa’s skyline in the background, illustrates ‘Celebrating Ottawa’s Timber Heritage,’ which is the theme for the 2022 RCNA Convention.”

The medal is available in silver, nickel and bronze with limited mintages.
