The Ontario Numismatic Association (ONA) has extended the deadlines for its award nominations and 2022 convention medal design submissions until June 1.
ONA members are invited to nominate recipients for its annual “Club of the Year” (COTY) honour plus two individual awards, the Award of Merit and the Fellow of the ONA. In addition to one COTY winner, the ONA awards committee will choose one Award of Merit and up to three Fellow recipients.
Officials will announce the recipients during the association’s 2022 convention, which was postponed from April until September due to lingering COVID-19 concerns. The convention will now take place on Sept. 9-10 in Mississauga, Ont., in conjunction with Trajan Publishing’s fall National Postage Stamp & Coin Show.
The ONA is also welcoming design suggestions for its annual convention medal.
