‘Extremely rare’ Saxony coin found in Canada

A newly discovered unlisted date of Saxony’s two-ducat gold coin, this struck in 1740, was recently found by a Canadian dealer. The coin features the ‘FWoF’ mint mark, which indicates the coin was struck by Dresden mint master Friedrich Wilhelm o Feral. It’s an ‘extraordinary’ find, according to fellow dealer Peter McDonald.
