ANA Summer Seminar goes virtual

While the American Numismatic Association (ANA) was forced to cancel its annual Summer Seminar in Colorado, it recently announced a series of free online courses through its new eLearning Academy.

Eleven courses originally slated for the week-long educational event will now be offered in a condensed one-to-two-hour online format from June 29-July 10. Courses are open to everyone, and while there’s no charge to participate, pre-registration is required.

Some courses include “Grading 101” (June 30); “Detection of Counterfeit and Altered Coins” (July 2); and “Creating a Great Club Newsletter” (July 10).

After this first round of courses, the ANA eLearning Academy will continue to offer two to three classes each month.

For detailed class descriptions and registration information, visit info.money.org/elearning or contact Brianna Victor, seminar manager, at 1-719-482-9865 or seminars@money.org.
