Maritimes’ Trends returns to every issue

Canadian Coin News is excited to announce the return of the popular pricing section for Newfoundland and Maritimes coins in every edition of Trends, starting with the current issue released on July 23.

Editor Mike Walsh said that when the magazine transitioned to a new handier size and bright paper stock, the initial decision was made to feature the Trends section for Newfoundland and Maritimes coins every sixth issue. The pricing section also includes gold sovereigns, $5 and $10 gold from 1912-14, and Newfoundland $2 gold.

“As the prices do not change that often, we decided to take this course,” Walsh explained. However, the change in publishing frequency prompted several readers to reach out and express their concerns. In response to this valuable feedback, Walsh and the CCN team have decided to reverse the initial decision. The pricing section for Newfoundland and Maritimes coins will now appear in every issue of Trends, ensuring that readers receive the most up-to-date information regularly.

“We always strive to meet the needs of our readers, and we are thrilled to bring back this popular section in every edition,” Walsh added. CCN appreciates the continued support and input from its readership, which helps shape the magazine to better serve the numismatic community.
