In planning for their club’s 75th anniversary, officials with Ontario’s London Numismatic Society (LNS) have discussed issuing a special bulletin featuring articles by members.
The LNS has issued five past anniversary bulletins, the most recent of which came for the club’s 60th anniversary in 2011.
Officials are now planning to compile new articles from current members plus historic articles published in past issues of the monthly LNS Bulletin for the special anniversary edition in 2026. Members will now form a committee and formalize a plan, including fundraising ideas, for the special issue.
In 2005, the Royal Canadian Numismatic Association named the LNS Bulletin the best local club newsletter as part of its annual awards program.
One of the earliest clubs in Southwestern Ontario, the LNS formed in April 1951.
