The Hamilton Coin Society (HCS) has relocated its monthly meeting venue due to what President Robb McPherson called “soaring room rental costs.”
Starting in June, the HCS will meet at the Stoney Creek Recreation Centre in nearby Stoney Creek, Ont., a residential community in east Hamilton.
“With this location change, we have made a switch in dates,” McPherson said today. “Going forward, we will be meeting on the first Tuesday of the month except for June, when we will be meeting on Thursday, June 8, 2023. We hope with these changes that we can return to a healthy number of people turning out to a meeting.”
