For the fourth time in its 65 years, the Halifax Regional Coin Club (HRCC) is hosting a Royal Canadian Numismatic Convention (RCNA).
In the Souvenir Program of the July 19-23, 2023 RCNA Convention in Halifax, club host co-chair Wayne Taylor explained the HRCC hosted its last RCNA convention in 2015. “We were slated to hold the 2020 convention when the COVID-19 pandemic struck. We are excited to have this opportunity to host the dealers from Canada, the U.S. and the EU, as well as RCNA members and the general public.”
In true Maritime spirit, Taylor welcomed “all participants to enjoy our Maritime hospitality, relaxed atmosphere, and the charms of our history city. Remember, though, that downtown Halifax is party central, so there are many things for all age groups to enjoy.”
Taylor, who along with co-chair Albert LeGrow, also praised “the members of the HRCC (who) will do anything in their power to ensure all receive timely and correct information through signage and answering any questions. We want the show and everyone’s time in Halifax to be memorable and enjoyable.”
