Findlay takes over as CCN Trends’ paper money editor

Following the death of long-time CCN Trends contributor Don Olmstead, Michael Findlay has taken the reins of the price guide’s paper money adjustments.

Serving as the Trends editor since 2017, Findlay, of Angus, Ont., works with several rotating guest editors, who are each responsible for evaluating the price trends of a specific collecting area. Findlay makes adjustments in 16 of the 26 yearly issues of CCN, and the guest editors are responsible for the remaining 10 issues.

Findlay is also the president of the Canadian Association of Numismatic Dealers (CAND).

Olmstead served as Trends’ paper money guest editor for about a decade before his death this June.
