The Edmonton Numismatic Society (ENS) will host its popular Spring 2025 Edmonton Coin Show and Sale, taking place this weekend at the Central Lions Recreation Centre in Edmonton.
Collectors from across the country will gather April 12-13 at 11113 113 Street NW for the two-day event, which will run Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $5 at the door, while youth aged 16 and under can attend for free. Free on-site parking is available, and attendees can also enjoy a meal at the venue’s Ela Euro Restaurant, open both days from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Organizers are expecting a strong turnout for the spring show, which will feature dealers from across Canada offering a broad range of material—everything from Canadian, U.S., and world coins to ancient pieces, paper money, tokens, medals, bullion, numismatic literature, and supplies.
In addition to the bourse, the event includes:
-
Free appraisals of coins, medals, banknotes, tokens, watches, and timepieces;
-
Educational displays on historical and artistic numismatics;
-
A silent auction for adults, open to all attendees;
-
A youth auction on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., where collectors aged 16 and under can bid using play money provided at the show (registration required by 11 a.m.);
-
A booth by the Edmonton Watch Club, offering evaluations and information on vintage and modern timepieces.
A SHOW WITH COMMUNITY FOCUS
The ENS is also encouraging attendees to support its ongoing partnership with the Edmonton Food Bank by bringing non-perishable food donations to the show.
Located near Kingsway Mall and accessible via public transit, the venue ensures easy access for visitors, and an ATM will be available on-site for convenience.
