Discover dealers’ latest treasures at the CAND Coin Show this weekend

The Canadian Association of Numismatic Dealers (CAND) is thrilled to launch the 2025 numismatic calendar with its annual Coin Show, set for Jan. 25-26 at the Sheraton Hamilton Hotel, 116 King St. West, Hamilton.

This eagerly anticipated event brings together approximately 30 professional dealers from across Canada, offering collectors a chance to connect with leading numismatic experts while exploring an incredible variety of coins, medals, tokens, banknotes, gold, and silver.

Adding to the excitement, dealers are showcasing fresh and unique items promoted on the CAND Facebook page, such as a remarkable Romania 2024 King Carol commemorative polymer banknote from 4TopNotes and an extraordinary Alex Colville Centennial coin set available at Malcolm Bell’s table. Don’t miss out on Charles Euston’s exquisite As of Caligula, or the stunning world coin selection from Colonial Acres—all at 50 per cent off the Trends price!

For more details, and listings, check  out the CAND Facebook page regularly, as dealers submit their treasures.

The bourse floor will feature dealers from British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia, each presenting new inventory sourced and curated over the holiday season. Whether you’re looking to buy, sell, or appraise your collection, this show is a can’t-miss event for every numismatist.

Families are encouraged to join the fun, with Cassidy Stroud, the Royal Canadian Numismatic Association’s national youth coordinator, hosting her popular Youth Table to inspire the next generation of collectors.

Convenient underground parking at the Jackson Square Mall, directly connected to the Sheraton, ensures a hassle-free visit. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $5 on Saturday, with free entry on Sunday.

CAND President Michael Findlay shares his enthusiasm: “The CAND Coin Show is a cornerstone event for numismatics, offering an unmatched opportunity to discover treasures, connect with experts, and celebrate the hobby. We look forward to welcoming collectors of all ages to this exciting weekend.”
