Coin shows returning after summer break

After a summer break, coin shows are returning to Ontario this August.

The shows start on Aug. 12 with the Canadian Tire Collectors Club, who will be meeting at the Travelodge Hotel at 2360 Princess Street, Kingston. Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting, which runs from 1-4 p.m. On Aug. 13, the popular Paris Coin Show opens at 9 a.m. at the Paris Fairgrounds at 139 Silver Street, Paris. The show will feature 50 tables of coins, paper money, tokens, supplies, and militaria. 

The Ottawa Coin Show is also being held on Aug. 13, starting at 9 a.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, 389 Richmond Road.

The Georgian Bay Coin and Stamp Club will be holding a show on Aug. 19 at the Prime Time Club, located on the east side of the YMCA at 1724 Mosley Street. Starting at 11 a.m., the show will feature 23 tables of numismatic materials including a youth table sponsored by the Royal Canadian Numismatic Association (RCNA). Wrapping up the month of August for shows is the 34th annual Woodstock Coin Club Show on Aug. 27 at the Goff Hall at 381 Finkle Street. The show opens at 9:30 a.m.
