CAWMC issues woods to raise funds

Each year, the Canadian Association of Wooden Money Collectors (CAWMC) issues a fundraiser wood to boost the organization’s coffers.

This year, the woods are based on sixth-century quotes from ancient Chinese Taoist philosopher Lao Tzu discovered by CAWMC member Lou Vesh, who created related dies several years ago. Fellow member Ross Kingdon later acquired the dies and allowed Dave Gillespie, also of CAWMC, to use them to create the new fundraiser woods.

CAWMC has produced 40 sets of five woods for $10 (plus $2.50 shipping within Canada) or two sets for $20 (with free shipping). For international orders beyond Canada, postage fees may vary.

To order the woods, contact CAWMC official France Waychison at france@waychison.com.
