The first major coin show of 2024 returns to Hamilton, Ont., for the Canadian Association of Numismatic Dealers (CAND) Coin Show Jan. 27-28.
“Our members from across Canada will be bringing a wide selection of currency to the two-day show,” says CAND President Michael Findlay.
Returning to the Sheraton Hamilton Hotel ballroom at 116 King St. W., the show will open to the public on Jan. 27 at 10 a.m., but CAND members will gather for the association’s annual general meeting before the doors open. Opening both days at 10 a.m., the show will close at 5 p.m. on Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $5 on Jan. 27 but free on closing day. Children under 16 are free. Indoor parking is available at the parking garage adjacent to the hotel.

The popular youth table will also be returning to the CAND show with the Royal Canadian Numismatic Society’s youth coordinator, Cassidy Stroud, offering fun-filled activities and free numismatic surprises for all youth who attend the show.
Organized in 1975, CAND is a non-profit association of about 50 Canadian and U.S. dealers who follow a strict code of ethics.
