The Canadian Association of Numismatic Dealers (CAND) will host a live virtual seminar on Sunday, Feb. 16, at 7 p.m. EST, addressing growing security challenges in the numismatic community.
Leading the session is Doug Davis, founder and president of the Numismatic Crime Information Center (NCIC) and director of counterfeiting for the Anti-Counterfeiting Educational Foundation. With over 35 years of experience in law enforcement and numismatics, Davis will discuss recent trends in organized crime affecting storefronts, coin shows, and shipping.
CAND invites both members and non-members, including coin show organizers, to participate. Attendees can submit questions during the session, which CAND President Michael Findlay will present to Davis. Dealers with specific security concerns are encouraged to submit them in advance.

The seminar is free to attend, offering valuable insights for dealers looking to protect their businesses and collections.
