Canadian Coin & Currency hosting coin exchange this Friday

Canadian Coin & Currency will host a special coin exchange event with the Royal Canadian Mint this Friday, Nov. 22, featuring colorized varieties of three newly released commemorative coins: the 2024 $2 Celebrating Inuit Nunangat, the 2024 $2 100th Anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force, and the 2024 $1 150th Anniversary of the Birth of L.M. Montgomery.

Participants can exchange $10 cash for a canvas bag containing two of each coin ($10 face value). The offer is limited to one bag per person while supplies last.

The event also includes a chance to purchase the 2024 $2 Commemorative Collector Keepsake Card celebrating the Royal Canadian Air Force’s centennial. Priced at $14.95 plus tax, the keepsake card will be signed in person by artist Pui Yan Fong. Quantities are limited, so attendees are encouraged to act quickly.

In addition, Canadian Coin & Currency will offer exclusive in-store specials during the event, available only while supplies last.

The coin exchange will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Canadian Coin & Currency, located at 10355 Yonge St., Richmond Hill, Ont. Exchanges are cash-only, accepting any Canadian circulation coins or banknotes, and no admission fee is required.
