‘King of Canadian Coins’ expected to bring $65k

Lot 709 is a 1921 50-cent coin, known as the ‘King of Canadian Coins,’ which is expected to bring upwards of $65,000 at the Sept. 29-30 Toronto Coin Expo sale hosted by Geoffrey Bell Auctions.

A 1921 50-cent coin – known affectionally as the “King of Canadian Coins” – will hit the auction block this September, and it’s expected to bring upwards of $65,000.
