Collectors can support the Manitoba Coin Club while adding new material to their collections through a special online fundraising auction that closes July 15 during the Royal Canadian Numismatic Association’s annual convention in Winnipeg.
The 29-lot sale, hosted by The Canadian Numismatic Company (TCNC), was organized by longtime collector Larry Dalman, local chair of the 2026 RCNA Convention, in partnership with the Manitoba Coin Club. Proceeds will help support the club’s educational programs and community activities.
Dalman approached TCNC with the idea of holding a dedicated fundraising auction and invited the Manitoba Coin Club to contribute consignments for the benefit of the organization.
“TCNC is proud to assist with this initiative and is delighted to provide this auction platform as a way of giving back to the numismatic community,” the auction house said in announcing the sale.
Among the highlights is a complete 1912–52 Canadian 25-cent date set comprising 41 silver coins, including two examples of the 1913 issue. Collectors will also find a partial Canadian five-cent date set spanning 1872H to 2015 and a group of four 2011 $100 Bank of Canada polymer notes representing different prefixes and signature combinations.
Founded in 1955, the Manitoba Coin Club has been a fixture of the province’s numismatic community for more than 70 years, promoting the hobby through meetings, educational programs, newsletters and coin shows.
Online bidding is now underway, with the sale closing on Wednesday, July 15. Collectors can view the catalogue and place bids through TCNC’s auction platform.
