Collectors from across southwestern Ontario are expected to gather in Cambridge, Ont., this weekend for the 35th annual Cambridge Coin Show, hosted by the Waterloo Coin Society.
The one-day show will be held at the Cambridge Newfoundland Club, located at 1500 Dunbar Rd., on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Admission is $2, with children under 16 admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Organizers will also accept cash donations at the door in support of the Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank.
More than 50 dealer tables will offer a wide selection of numismatic material, including banknotes, coins, medals, tokens, reference catalogues and collecting supplies. Collectors will have opportunities to buy, sell or trade items and to have collections evaluated by knowledgeable and qualified dealers.
A portion of the show proceeds will be donated to both the Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank and the Royal Canadian Numismatic Association.
Canadian Coin News will also be attending the event with two tables featuring a variety of numismatic supplies for collectors, plus the latest issue of CCN.
