The Royal Canadian Mint will host a series of public coin exchanges across Canada, giving collectors a chance to obtain 2025 commemorative circulation issues.
Most venues will offer the 2025 $1 coin marking the 150th anniversary of the Supreme Court of Canada, the 2025 $2 coin celebrating the life and art of Daphne Odjig, and the 2025 $2 coin honouring Canada’s Unknown Soldier. Some locations will feature the Unknown Soldier coin only, as noted below.
General details: exchanges are cash only; any Canadian circulation coin or banknote denomination is accepted. Quantities are limited and per-person limits apply while supplies last. No admission is required.
