ONA postpones convention to fall

The Ontario Numismatic Association (ONA) has decided to postpone its annual convention from April until  September.

The ONA planned to hold its spring convention in conjunction with Trajan Publishing’s National Postage Stamp & Coin Show, which as of mid-January is still proceeding on April 9-10.

Earlier this month, the Province of Ontario announced its current COVID-19 regulations will be reviewed on Jan. 26. Trajan, which owns the National Show held each spring and fall at the Hilton Mississauga, will wait until next month before making a final decision regarding its April show.

The ONA 2022 Convention will now be held on Sept. 9-10 in Mississauga, Ont., in conjunction with the fall National Postage Stamp & Coin Show. ONA President Sean Sinclair provides more details on the postponement in a statement on the organization’s website.
