Toronto Coin Expo, Geoffrey Bell auction underway today

More than 35 professional dealers are offering a wide variety of Canadian coins, banknotes, tokens, medals, and other worldwide currency items at the Toronto Coin Expo, underway at the Toronto Reference Library. Viewing is also underway today for Session Two of the Geoffrey Bell Auctions.

The popular two-day show is open until 5 pm today on the second floor of the library, located at 789 Young Street (one street north of Bloor).  The show reopens on Saturday at 10 am and runs until 4 pm. Admission ($6 for adults and free for children 16 and under) also includes a seminar at 1 pm on Saturday. Grading expert Francois Rufiange will be speaking on: “Grading difficulty — spotting traces of wear!”
