The Royal Canadian Mint’s November 2025 line-up of collector coins showcases a range of themes that reflect both Canadian heritage and fine craftsmanship. The new issues combine traditional artistry with innovative design across gold, silver and circulation coinage.
Highlights of the release include new editions of the Peace Dollar, a fine silver coin celebrating Ojibwe culture, and a miniature pure gold coin symbolizing prosperity in the Year of the Dragon.
2026 PEACE DOLLAR
Central to the November release is the 2026 Peace Dollar, which continues the Mint’s exploration of postwar symbolism through a serene personification of Peace. The coin appears in three formats:

The 2026 Classic Uncirculated Coin Set ($26.95, mintage 100,000) offers an annual snapshot of Canada’s circulating coinage. The six-coin set includes one example of each denomination, from the five-cent to the two-dollar coin, along with the seldom-seen 50-cent piece.
HONOURING OJIBWE HERITAGE
The Legend of the Dreamcatcher ($149.95, mintage 5,000) recognizes Ojibwe culture through an engraved one-ounce fine silver design. The reverse depicts a matriarch crafting a dreamcatcher while nurturing her child, framed within a soaring eagle representing a spiritual connection to the Creator.
A LUCKY ADDITION
The Lucky Dragon ($428.88, mintage 8,888) introduces a compact gold coin that blends cultural symbolism with intricate design. Struck in one-twentieth of an ounce of 99.99 per cent pure gold, the coin features a dragon curling into the shape of the number eight, a traditional symbol of fortune and infinite prosperity.
THE GILDED SUNDIAL
The Gilded Sundial ($219.95, mintage 5,500) merges function and form in a one-ounce fine silver coin featuring a gold-plated brass gnomon. When placed in sunlight and aligned to true north, the gnomon casts a shadow across the engraved surface, allowing the coin to function as a working sundial.
ANIMAL PORTRAITS: GREY WOLF
The Animal Portraits series continues with the Grey Wolf ($169.95, mintage 7,500), a one-ounce fine silver coin depicting the animal in mid-motion. The design extends beyond the coin’s central frame, emphasizing the connection between humans and the natural world.
SPECIAL WRAP ROLLS
Two special wrap rolls are also being released this month. The 30th Anniversary of the Toonie – Collector’s Edition Non Circulation $2 Special Wrap Roll ($89.95, mintage 30,000) contains 25 double-dated 2026 coins bearing the “W” mint mark of the Winnipeg facility, where the denomination has been produced since its 1996 debut.
The 2026 50-cent Special Wrap Circulation Roll ($24.95, mintage 25,000) provides collectors with the only source for this year’s 50-cent circulation coins outside of the uncirculated set.
PUREST BISON AND LUNAR HORSE
