The Week in Shows (Oct. 15-21)

There are three shows on the Canadian numismatic calendar this week.

Today, the Mississauga Coin and Stamp Show will be returning to John Paul II Polish Cultural Centre on 4300 Cawthra Rd. in Mississauga, Ont. Sponsored by the Troyak Club, the show will be open from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and feature more than 30 dealers and 60 dealer tables.

WOODSTOCK, N.B.

Later this week, on Oct. 21, the Collectors’ Show and Sale will be held at Ayr Motor Centre on 105 Connell Park Rd. in Woodstock, N.B. The show will be open from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., and admission $2 (children aged 16 and under are free).

REGINA, SASK.

Rounding out the week in shows is the Regina Coin Club’s Fall Show and Sale, which will be held at the Turvey Centre on 100 Armour Rd. Highway 6 N. in Regina, Sask. on Oct. 21-22. The show will be open on Oct. 21 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and on Oct. 22 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults, $5 for a two-day pass, $1 for children aged 13-16 and free for children aged 12 and under.

In addition to the bourse, the show will also include a display of rare coins and medals, activities for children and a series of door prizes.
