ONA seeking volunteers for 2018 convention

The Ontario Numismatic Association (ONA) is seeking volunteers to help during its upcoming convention, which will be held in Kitchener, Ont. on April 20-22.

Assistance is required at the registration/admittance area as well as with informal security on the bourse near dealer tables and exhibit displays. Organizers of the 2018 ONA Convention are also seeking assistance to help prepare the bourse on April 19 and remove equipment after the convention ends on April 22.

“There is a volunteer convention medal given to a limited number of volunteers,” reads Volume 57 (March-April 2018) of The Ontario Numismatist. “The more hours you are available, the higher your chance of receiving a medal becomes.”

For more information, contact ONA Recording Secretary Len Trakalo, who’s also the convention’s security chair, at ltrakalo@rogers.com.
