NGC marks 35 years on holder label

The Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC), a Florida-based third-party grading service, will mark its 35th anniversary with a limited-edition label available through 2022.

From Jan. 1 until Dec. 31, 2022, NGC’s “35th Anniversary Celebratory Label” will be available for all U.S. and world modern coin submissions for no additional fee. NGC “modern” classification includes coins issued from 1965 to date, but any submissions for encapsulation must be able to fit in a standard-size holder (45 millimetres in diameter or less) or in an “oversize” holder (up to 120 millimetres in diameter).

There is no additional fee or minimum submission requirement for this special label; however, the firm reserves the right to exclude certain coins at its discretion.

NGC has certified more than 52 million coins, medals and tokens since its 1987 formation.
