Manz Coins releases 15th educational video

George Manz, owner of Saskatchewan’s George Manz Coins, has released his 15th educational video focused on Canadian numismatics.

Episode 15 of the George Manz Coins Video Podcast, which is available on YouTube, can be seen below. Co-hosted by Terry Massey, the video highlights radar notes, which are also known as palindrome notes.

“Serial numbers for these special notes are the same forward as they are backwards,” reads the episode description. “This episode also features a Devil’s Face note and a Modified Portrait Note with a palindrome serial number.”

“These are special serial numbers, which some people certainly collect. The first four of them are solid palindromes, also called radar notes. A palindrome is something that you can, if you read it frontwards, you can read it backwards and it’s exactly the same,” said Manz, who added it’s like reading the word “Bob.”

“These don’t happen very often,” he added.
