On the heels of a successful and popular convention at the same venue in 2015, the Halifax Regional Coin Club will be hosting this year’s RCNA Convention in the Nova Scotia capital. Who’s planning to attend? Do you attend most conventions in Canada or only the ones close to home?

    Proof Nut

Halifax was awesome in 2015 and well worth the expense! Hoping to attend this year and share hotel expenses with a fellow collector to make it affordable and more enjoyable. When you are looking at a few thousand dollars not including food, excursions or extra expenditures on a minimum wage job and not being retired or rich, it’s hard to justify the cost when you can go to Cuba or the Dominican all expenses paid for far less.

That said, the R.C.N.A. and host clubs put on a stellar show with so many activities, meetings and special events you can’t help but feel like you are a VIP and doing your part to promote the hobby and support the member dealers. After all it is designed to be family friendly and offer a vacation alternative with lots of free time to explore and learn about Canadian history and geography, etc. Be sure to register early and sign up for some of the great tours and events to avoid missing out!
