I’m trying to find information concerning what appears to be an original Assembly of Treaty Chiefs medallion. It is in my possession, but belongs to a family of one of the original treaty chiefs here in Alberta. The family is interested in selling it, but wanted my help with this. It is definitely not a reproduction. It has no date, and the the only inscription is the words “Victoria Regina” on the side with her relief, and the other side has “Assembly of Tribal Chiefs” with the relief of the two men shaking hands. The detail on the relief is extremely fine engraving, beyond naked eye resolution. Any help with this?
