What area of numismatics do you specialize in, or what’s your favourite thing to collect?

    Jim Bulmer

Hi, Jim here. I have collected for over 50 years and my specializations have changed from time to time. My Canadian collection is in good shape, so no need to spend much time there except to fill a few holes. Being in Europe the last few years, I was able to concentrate on Archaic Greek silver and Julio-Claudian bronzes, then I got 2 nice collections of Ancient Chinese and Celtic, so there is some work to do there. My current project, on Hornby Island, BC, is making a $20 Trade Token…I started it last year, we will do it again this year, and I have begun a “Design the 2019 Hornby Island Token”. My favourite period is the Dawn of Coinage.
