According to the Charlton Standard Catalogue, there are three varieties of RCM cases of issue for the 1970 Manitoba nickel dollar. I have both case (B) and (C ) in my collection, but I have yet to see an example of case (A), which Charlton describes as “black leatherette square case, gilt RCM crest, blue insert”. I’ve even heard that the case is actually blue, not black, as issue with the 1971 nickel dollar. What’s the true description? Anyone have a clear image of case (A)?
