2021 ONA Convention medals available soon

The Ontario Numismatic Association (ONA) is now accepting orders for a modified version of its 2020 convention medal.

Originally struck for last year’s cancelled convention in Burlington, the medal’s design was updated this spring to reflect the 2021 event date and virtual format:

  • the phrase “HOSTED BY THE HAMILTON COIN SOCIETY” has been removed;
  • the date has been changed to “APRIL 9 – 11, 2021”; and
  • “VIRTUAL CONVENTION” has been added above the central design featuring the Burlington Bay James N. Allan Skyway.

The new design is available in .999 fine silver ($70); nickel ($30); and copper ($20) on a pre-order basis (with a 50 per cent deposit) to ONA members only.

ONA members can place orders through ONA Treasurer Robb McPherson at treasurer@the-ona.ca until Aug. 31.
