The Week in Shows (May 21-27)

There are two major coin shows on this week’s docket.

Coming later this week, on May 27, the first of two shows is the South-Central/Eastern Ontario Saturday Coin, Stamp and Postcard Show at King Edward Community Centre on 75 Elizabeth St. in Brighton, Ont. The show will be open from 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and will boast more than a million worldwide coins, banknotes, postage stamps, covers and postcards. Related hobby supplies will also be also available—many at discounted prices, according to organizers.

BRITISH COLUMBIA

Also on May 27 is the Coin, Stamp and Collectibles Show, which is being hosted by Vancouver’s North Shore Numismatic Society at the Nikkei Centre on 6688 Southoaks Cres. in Burnaby, B.C. The bourse will be open from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and feature coins, banknotes, tokens, medals, stamps postcards, art, pins and more. Free underground parking is available, and admission $2. (although children under the age of 16 are free if accompanied by an adult).
