The Week in Shows (Feb. 4-10)

There are three major shows on the docket this week.

Today, the Paris Coin Show and Auction will be held at the Paris Fairgrounds on 139 Silver St. in Paris, Ont. Described by organizers as “Canada’s best one-day coin and collectables show,” this event will feature 35 dealers across more than 50 tables of coins, paper money, militaria and more.

The show will be open from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and admission is $4 and includes a draw ticket for a gold coin.

Yesterday, a live auction was hosted by New Brunswick’s Geoffrey Bell Auctions in conjunction with the show.

QUÉBEC

On Feb. 10, the Salon Annuel ANFC de Monnaies et Timbres will be held at the Best Western Plus Hôtel Universel on 915 rue Hains in Drummondville, Qué. The show will be open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and admission is free.

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y.

Lastly, the Coins and Collectibles Show will be hosted by the Niagara Frontier Coin Club at Lewiston Fire Hall #2 on 1705 Saunders Settlement Rd. in Niagara Falls, N.Y. The semi-annual expo will feature a variety of dealers buying, selling, trading and appraising coins, currency and more. The show will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and admission and parking are free.
