The Week in Shows (Feb. 19-25)

There are several coin shows on the docket this week.

First up is the Stamp and Coin Show being hosted by the North Bay and District Stamp Club today at North Bay Elks Club on 325 Elks Ln., in North Bay, Ont. The show will feature a variety of stamp and coin dealers on the bourse, which is open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. There will also be stamp exhibits on display as well as a youth table for young collectors. Admission and parking are both free.

TROY, MICH.

Also being held today is the Eight Annual International Coin Show, which is co-hosted by the Polish American Numismatic Society and Windsor Coin Club at the American Polish Cultural Center in Troy, Mich. The show will be open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and feature 100 dealer tables. Parking and admission are both free.

TORONTO

Later this week, on Feb. 25-26, the Winter Torex will be held at the Hyatt Regency hotel on 370 King St. W., in Toronto. The show will be open from on Feb. 25 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and on Feb. 26 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Admission is $7, although children aged 16 and under are free.

Also taking place at Torex on Feb. 25 is the Canadian Tire Coupon Collectors Show, which is hosted by the Canadian Tire Coupon Collectors Club. The show will run from 9 a.m. until noon, and admission is free. Organizers are encouraging people to bring Canadian Tire coupons, gift cards or other memorabilia for trading or selling.

BOUCHERVILLE, QUE.

Also on Feb. 25-26 is the Stamp and Coin Show hosted by l’Association des numismates et des philatélistes de Boucherville. The show will be held at De Mortagne School on 955 De Montarville Blvd., in Boucherville, Que., from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. both days. A total of 35 dealers will be in attendance, and a stamp auction will be held on Feb. 26 at 11 a.m.
