Waterloo club finds new venue

The Waterloo Coin Society (WCS) has moved its monthly meeting venue.

Effective April 11, the long-running club serving collectors in Southern Ontario and beyond has held its meetings in the Viewing Lounge at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium on 400 East Ave. in Kitchener’s northeast end.

“When you arrive at The Aud, go to the main lobby and head to the Viewing Lounge located on the same level, between and overlooking the Kinsmen and Kiwanis arenas,” reads the club’s June newsletter. “We will have one of our banners visible in the lobby to help you find us. Parking, especially on nights when other events are occurring at The Aud, may be a challenge. Arrive early and be prepared to walk a little further than you normally might. Consider carpooling with other members too!”

The WCS meets year-round on the second Tuesday of each month along with other virtual events launched during the pandemic. The club also hosts the annual Cambridge Coin Show.
