The Week in Shows (March 18-24)

There are three major shows on the docket this week.

First up is the L.A. Coin Show, which is being held today at Windsor Moose Lodge on 777 Tecumseh Rd. W. in Windsor, Ont. The show will be open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and feature 25 dealer tables with a large variety of Canadian, U.S. and world coins, currency, supplies, militaria and more. Admission and parking are free. Donations of canned goods are gratefully accepted for the LaSalle food bank.

Later this week, on March 24, the 27th Annual Cambridge Coin Show will be held at the Cambridge Newfoundland Club on 1500 Dunbar Rd. in Cambridge, Ont. Sponsored by the Waterloo Coin Society, the show will be open from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and include more than 50 dealer tables featuring coins, paper money, tokens, medals, trade dollars, official mint products, hobby supplies, reference books and more. Admission and parking are free. A portion of show proceeds will be donated to charity, and cash donations to support the Cambridge Self Help Food Bank will be accepted.

Rounding out the week in shows is the Collectors’ Show and Sale, which will be held on March 24 at the Royal Canadian Legion on 219 Greenfield Rd. in Florenceville-Bristol, N.B. The bourse will include coins, paper money, militaria, stamps, sports cards as well as other collectibles and antiques.

NEXT WEEK

Looking forward to next week, there is one major show on the numismatic calendar: the Coin and Collectibles Show will be held on March 25 in Cobourg, Ont.
