TCNC’s Winter Sale features ‘several interesting and diverse items’

The Canadian Numismatic Company (TCNC) is set to launch its 2025 Winter Sale this Friday, Feb. 21, with bidding taking place over three sessions through Feb. 23.

The auction features more than 1,200 lots, including a wide array of Maritimes and Canadian coins, banknotes, militaria, Royal Canadian Mint (RCM) issues, world banknotes, medals, stamps, and watches.

The sale, which is expected to draw strong interest from collectors, includes several significant numismatic items spanning various historical periods and regions. TCNC, which has built a reputation for handling notable collections, says it has assembled an auction catalogue with a diverse selection of material to appeal to a broad range of collectors.

“This superb 2025 Winter Sale should make some nice moments and active evenings of auctioning.,” says TCNC. “We expect this to be one of the most popular online auction this winter featuring several interesting and diverse items.”

TCNC expressed appreciation to consignors for entrusting their collections to the sale, emphasizing that the auction represents an opportunity for both seasoned and new collectors to acquire distinctive and historically significant pieces.

Bidding is now open, and the full auction catalog is available online at auctions.canadiancoinsandpapermoney.com. The sale will unfold over three sessions, with bidding concluding on Feb. 23.
