John Richards, the owner of North Main Coins in Regina, Sask., died on July 27 at the age of 77.
Born June 15, 1942, Richards – and his wife Linda – participated in local Regina Coin Club shows for many years but missed the 2019 spring show due to health reasons. He was also a dealer at the 2013 Royal Canadian Numismatic Association (RCNA) Convention in Winnipeg plus the 2012 RCNA Convention in Calgary.
“John was a knowledgable numismatist, philatelist and enjoyed other collecting circles. He was a gentleman and a quiet presence in conversation,” said Ken Brown, treasurer of the Regina Coin Club.
“We’ll miss his times with us and extend our condolences to his wife Linda and family.”
